Self care is important – after all you can’t pour from an empty cup. So here’s some general wellbeing practices to help you think positive and get motivated with some help from uni-ball pens.
1 Try something new
A change is a good as a rest and, if you can, why not make some small steps and simply try something you haven’t done before.
Make a list of all the things you’d like to try. Read it through and see which ones are most achievable in the short, medium and long term. Perhaps use you could use your Jetstream 3 to colour code your activities. Pick a short term one to start with and start making plans with your medium and long term goals.

2 Do a mindful activity
A lovely way to think positive and get motivated with some help from uni-ball pens is to practice a mindful activity.
We think mandala designs are an incredibly effective way of practising creativity and mindfulness. The act of creating these intricate designs requires patience and meditation. Therefore making a mandala can be an excellent distraction from anxious thoughts and a great way of getting ‘in the zone’ and honing your concentration.
EMOTT fineliners are excellent for mandalas. They are really good coloured pens that look great and perform brilliantly. These hardworking pens draw and write with clear line and deliver good colour coverage and vibrance on the page.
3 Keep track of your moods
We are big fans of journaling at uni-ball not only do they help with our stress levels and organisation, but can key us into positive motivational messages.
So to keep in a positive frame of mind and boost your motivation, why not make a mood tracker?
Tracking your mood is a really effective way to learn more about yourself and achieve better mental health. Making a note of how you feel in a day is a marvellous way of checking in with yourself. Plus the act of colouring in a section to illustrate your mood provides you with some space and time to truly reflect on how you are.
The mood-tracker allows you to chart your daily mood to give you an overview at the end of the month. Associating a feeling with a colour will help reflect on how you feel and keep track on your personal development
4 Be playful!
Sometimes it’s nice not to take things too seriously. You can have fun and keep your spirits up by planting fun touches around the home with your uni Chalk Markers.
The uni-ball Chalk Marker writes on and wipes off non-porous surfaces such as chalkboards, chalkboard painted walls and glass. They should be your go-to marker for decorating, making signs and writing temporary labels.
So why not draw a little message on a window or a moustache on a mirror to brighten your day and someone else’s?
These markers are so good that bars and restaurants use them everyday. So get the same professional look for yourself.
5 Write your affirmations
A really tangible way to think positive is to write some useful affirmations.
Using positive affirmations daily will really help with positivity and motivation. Practicing a daily affirmation ritual aims to slowly reprogram your mind. This act means you’re replacing any negative thoughts and images with positive and uplifting ones.
Affirmations work well alongside visualisation. So, instead of just wishing the change you’d like to see in yourself, you could write it down. Make jotting down positive, motivation affirmations part of your daily routine so you can get the best results.
