Dare to doodle with POSCA and Ted Baker
Last year British luxury clothing retailer Ted Baker collaborated with POSCA pens. The aim was to get people to unleash their playful side, show off their individuality and embrace customisation.
Customise the coat
From 5th – 18th November 2018 10,000 Ted Baker customers received a POSCA Pen and Ted Baker postcard featuring their new winter collection ladies white coat. Customers were encouraged to customise the coat and background with Posca. They then shared their creations on social media with the hashtag #TedsPosca and tagging in Ted Baker and POSCA Instagram accounts. To open it to everyone, people could download this picture and customise with POSCA via the Ted Baker Insta page.
Ted Baker and POSCA also teamed up with London’s finest fashion, art and design students. These emerging new creatives customised images of the coat with POSCA . The best 50 entries are available to view via Ted Baker, The School of Fashion & Art Design and POSCA UK social media channels.
A great collaboration
POSCA wants to give everyone the chance to have fun with these fabulous paint pens so this was a great partnership. While doodling is great fun, the practice also has proven benefits, alleviating stress and boosting concentration. Doodling is also said to help you process emotions, so this was an ideal way to get started and let your imagination run free. You could start simple or be really intricate and expressive – the choice was yours!
POSCA pens are ideal for doodling on all manner of surfaces. The pens work brilliantly on paper, card, glass, ceramic, leather, fabric, wood and plastic. That’s why they are the first choice for up-cycling, personalising clothes, creating decorations or designing a greeting.

Or perhaps if you fancy something more colourful, try out your glittery POSCAs on a plain pair of white pumps.
