Get your self a cuppa and head to our YOUTUBE channel where we have a wealth of seasonal and general drawing and illustration videos that will hopefully give you the ideas and confidence to get creative. They are also great for when you need some artistic inspiration to keep little ones out of trouble for a creative ‘crafternoon’.
1: Christmas video hacks
We’ve selected a couple of videos here to start you off with some festive fun. From hand-lettering, simple line drawing and some brush work, we’ve covered a wide range in this selection. And, while a lot of these projects are done as cards, you can employ them on a range of surfaces if you are working with POSCA or uni Chalk Markers and as name tags and notices if working with SIGNO or PIN.
2: Winter mittens
We love this simple illustration and while this video features colourful mittens on a card design we can see these on a plate for a place name to make the Christmas table super special. They also look brilliant on name tags and plain gifts.
We’ve worked up our winter mittens using the full colour range of our 1MR POSCA markers. The fine, precise line of these pen nibs are ideal for fiddly details and defined small festive motifs such as snowflakes, stars and geometric patterns as seen here.
3: A (SIGNO) white Christmas
We think our SIGNO Broad white, gold and silver pen set is a Christmas essential. These opaque, great quality gel pens are ideal for cards, gifting and tags. The video below shows you some simple hand lettering and how to use the pens to create an easy, but highly effective holly and fir sprig design.
4: Grown up gifting
While we’ve already given you some top gift decoration ideas but we’re always happy to give you more. How about this for a more grown-up design? It proves you don’t have to go for the usual Christmas motifs to create something magical.
We’ve used our gold POSCA brush pen to create a botanical design on a black box and you can see that the motifs look great in black on white and cream decorations and gift boxes.

5: Get Kraft card crafty
The look of metallic and white pen on kraft card can be such a stylish one at Christmas. That’s why we love this simple card project that could be easily transferred on simple kraft card gift boxes.
