POSCA artist celebrates Chinese New Year in style

Olivier Jamin’s exciting interactive artwork completed by visitors to Victoria Leeds

POSCA artist Olivier Jamin welcomed in the Chinese New Year in trademark colourful style last weekend at Victoria Leeds Shopping Centre.

This dragon is really taking shape with POSCA

Jamin provided a live, interactive POSCA art installation at the busy shopping centre to mark the Chinese New Year.

Working alongside Sunny Chana, Sunny Digital Prints, Jamin created an interactive art installation activity that really  engaged the public and encouraged some arty participation.

The installation keys in with Jamin’s artistic vision.  The artist’s aim is produce work that combines the effect of colours and patterns and raises peoples imagination and awareness.

Everyone getting involved with POSCA

Jamin’s piece certainly got everyone involved, with visitors to the centre using POSCA paint markers to colour-in two dragon banners designed by the artist. Check out how the piece took shape in this time lapse video .
