POSCA paint markers have been voted best for colouring and lettering in the Crafts Business Best of Crafts Awards 2020.
The UK’s longest running craft awards hosted by Crafts Beautiful and PaperCrafter magazines, the Best of Craft Awards celebrate all aspects of the arts and crafts industry. The awards cover everything from those craft essentials to those much desired, trend-led products that PaperCrafter and Crafts Beautiful readers are coveting. Check out the rest of the winners here.
We’re really honoured to win this award and particularly proud that we’ve been selected as Editor’s choice.
Ideal for hand-lettering and colouring
POSCA pens are ideal for both hand-lettering and colouring. The choice of nib sizes means that you can pick the POSCA tip to suit your style and individual art or craft project.
The variation nib size and shape allows you to experiment with different types of hand-lettering and ways to make marks while colouring in. Take a look at our guide to POSCA nibs below and see which one (or how many) works for you.
A choice of creative options
As POSCAs work on practically any surface you can colour and hand-letter on virtually anything. So while you can draw in a sketch book as well as design and customise lots of great looking card and paper, greetings, gift tags and gift boxes with POSCA you can also be bold on mediums such as wood, glass, and canvas.
Above we used our POSCAs to decorate wooden coasters with initials and simple motifs for a personalised home look. Below is a lovely little idea – a mini canvas with an ornate letter – all created with various sized POSCA pens!
