Handmade gift ideas for teacher
It’s the end of another school year. How did that happen? We’ve got some great ideas for some handmade gifts for teachers that you and the kids can make that are sure to be treasured and loved.
There are plenty of ways to make your kids’ teachers feel appreciated. Of course our POSCA pens can be put to good use for personalising and decorating a range of items from ceramics to fabrics. You can also use SIGNO pens to update notebooks and paper items plus you can compile a set of writing pens and journals to create a beautiful stationery set.
Take a look at our ideas for handmade gifts for teachers and see what you can whip up for the end of term…
1: Floral water bottle
Get a useful gift for teacher and give it a decorative touch. We have decorated this imminently practical water bottle with fun and colourful folky florals. We used a combination of 5m and 3m POSCAs to make simple circle and petal shapes. An effective, unique idea with an impressive on-trend look.
2: Eucalyptus coffee cup
Keeping with the practical theme, how about encouraging teacher to go green with a reusable coffee cup? We’ve been stylishly simple here and decorated this one with a basic eucalyptus motif using a silver 1M POSCA. However you could really embrace colour by decorating it with dots and dashes utilising the wealth of POSCA colours at your disposal.
3: Flamingo pen holder
Want a truly original take on our handmade gifts for teachers? Try this. Brighten up the teacher’s desktop with a tropical metallic flavour. We’ve used a set of vibrant 5M POSCA metallic shades (and a black 1M) to decorate a plain plastic pen container with a funky flamingo. We’ve surrounded him with green metallic leaves and gangly gold legs. It’s sure to be a real handmade hit for teacher! And one they will treasure for years.
4: Personalised journal
This monogramed book is a really sweet, yet inexpensive idea for handmade gifts for teachers. Put your SIGNO pens to work on a plain A6 journal. You can see how we did it in the video below.
5: Coordinated stationery bundle
Not convinced of your drawing or design skills? Why not put together a set of uni-ball pens teamed with a co-ordinating notebook or journal? Our coloured barrelled Air pens look amazing with combined with Oxford notebooks of a similar hue. For a more feminine look, bundle a set of colourful EYE designer pens with a floral journal.
