We are big fans of journaling at uni-ball HQ – we believe they can really help with our stress levels and organisation. So here we show you how to make a mood-tracker journal page with PIN and SIGNO pens as part of your journaling journey.
The mood-tracker allows you to chart your daily mood to give you an overview at the end of the month. By associating each feeling with a colour, this page is a fun way to work on your personal development. So make your monthly mood-tracker page with us by following this simple step by step…
Your uni PIN writing and drawing felt-tip pens are the perfect tool for any bullet journal, Their calibrated tips are resistant and the ink doesn’t bleed through the paper. The Signo roller gel pens allow you to add colour and vary the effects: metallic or even sparkly! So you can create stunning journal pages to be proud of.
Make a mood-tracker journal page with PIN and SIGNO: you will need…
- A bullet journal (if you don’t have one you can use a notebook)
- Black Uni PIN felt-tips, 0.2 and 0.8 mm tips
- SIGNO roller gel pens, we’ve chosen Gold, Metallic Blue and Metallic Green
You can also print out our template belowStart with your black and white sketch
Get your Uni Pin felt-tip pens ready to create the title for your mood-tracker journal page. Here we’ve used the 0.2 and 0.8 mm tips to give a contrasting effect. However you can choose from the PIN’s extensive range of 14 nib sizes to suit your individual bullet journaling style.
First make a set of lines going across your page. Now, you can draw as many boxes hanging from the horizontal lines as there are days of the coming month. For this tutorial, we suggest transforming each day into a polaroid photograph which you can then colour in depending on your mood that day as seen the downloadable template. However if you want to keep it more simple you could draw in hanging circles like fairy lights – it’s to you.
Make a key and add your colours
Now you can choose your colours to suit your mood. We’ve chosen three different moods represented by blue, green and gold with the help of our Signo roller gel pens, but you can of course choose your own colours.
Each evening, take some time to take stock of your day and colour the photo with the colour matching your mood that day.
You could make your monthly mood-tracker journal page to start every month of your journaling. They do make a great opening page for that particular month and they are a great way to scan how you are feeling. Why not try varying the colours and design for every month?
